History
  • The community of Lakewood Ranches was established in 2004.
  • Developed by Florida Land Partners LLC and platted with Lake County, FL on October 18, 2004;  Plat Book 53: Pages 19-27.  FL Land Partners bought the land in March of 2004 from Herman J. Heidrich & Sons.  The Deed of Covenants and Restrictions was also recorded on October 18, 2004 with Lake County; Book 2679: Page 179.
  • The community encompasses 775 (+/-) acres, consisting of 149 homesites.
  • Surrounding cities to Lakewood Ranches are:  Mount Dora, Sorrento, Eustis, Tavares, Umatilla.
